I hope that everyone has had a wonderful Christmas, Hanukkah or holiday and that
your New Year will be filled with all of the happiness and success that you
desire. This month there are four (4) photos posted for your review that are
associated with our article of the month which focuses on defining “nebulous
anomalies.” I'm sure that this is a term that, even for experienced paranormal
investigators, you are unfamiliar with. There is a reason for that – I recently
re-named, defined and re-grouped several classes of anomalies with similar
traits into this new category and sub-classes. The four (4) classes of
paranormal anomaly that have been examined in this article are vapors, mists,
fogs and ectoplasms. The article, from start to finish, explains, defines and
re-categorizes these anomalies and attempts to assist the reader in better
understanding what these anomalies are. Also, please take a look at the
comparative photos to see what some of the defining visual traits of these
anomalies are.
Our question of the month, something that not a lot of people have considered to
be sure, asks if ghosts can exist underwater. I am not aware of a lot of
research that has been carried out on this portion of the paranormal realm, but
some of the few case studies that have been investigated may lead to an answer
that you may not expect.
The IPRF has a revised meeting schedule this year and for the months of January
and February there will be no meetings due to the typically inclement weather
during this time of year. As we move into March and the weather begins to break
we will move forward with several investigations at sites that we have not
investigated previously. Several of these sites have taken some work to get into
and a good bit of work to coordinate but I believe that the effort will have
been with it when we get there. Also, we have several follow up investigations
that we are going to get into as well, so once again it should be a busy but
exciting year.
Finally, for those of you who are in or around the western Pennsylvania area we
will again present classes at several of the local area community colleges this
year: the Community College of Beaver County (Monaca) 03/31, Butler County
Community College (Cranberry) 03/17, Butler County Community College (Lawrence)
03/03, Westmoreland Community College (date TBD) and the Community College of
Allegheny County (date TBD).
Again, have a healthy and prosperous New Year. I hope to see you here again next
month.

Mission Statement
The International Parapsychology Research Foundation is a diverse non-profit
organization of individuals who, through the application of various disciplines
of science and academia, strive to deduce logical and relevant conclusions to
questions in the field of parapsychology that have not been adequately answered
by conventional or traditional scientific means. By working in tandem with
several local colleges on various levels our scientific research programs
produce an unparalleled venture in academic and educational excellence while our
partnership with local law enforcement agencies has created an investigation
training program that has an unequaled standard of integrity and credibility in
the field. It is through these field operations that information of innovative
discoveries is acquired in the field of parapsychology and then disseminated to
the public through various mediums such as the IPRF website, educational
programs, college courses, seminars, books, magazines, newspapers, television
and radio broadcasts.
